GameTap Celebrates âAdventure Weekâ with the Addition of Phoenix Licensing and a Cyan Classic
This week, GameTap celebrates the Adventure genre by rolling out six new-to-the-network adventure titles, including the networkâs first title from Phoenix Licensing and the first PC version of a classic Mac game from Cyan. In addition, we are premiering multiplayer capabilities with four others games!
Among the highlights is âThe Last Express,â Phoenix Licensingâs debut game on GameTap. When The Last Express was originally released, it received Editorâs Choice awards from Computer Gaming World, PC Gamer, and dozens of gaming websites, as well as being awarded the âBest New Adventure and Role Playing Gameâ by Games Magazine. Created by Jordan Mechner, the mastermind behind the incredibly popular âPrince of Persiaâ series, âThe Last Expressâ is an indelible adventure experience.
While Cyan is best known for its âMystâ franchise - with âMyst Online: Uru Liveâ debuting on GameTap this holiday season and âMyst,â âRiven: The Sequel to Myst,â and âMyst III: Exileâ currently available in the network â one of their past game gems is âSpelunx and the Caves of Mr. Seudo.â This is an educational game cleverly disguised as a cave exploration adventure. Previously only available for the Mac, it is now making its PC debut.
