LEGACY INTERACTIVE RELEASES FARM VET PC GAME

Vets Nationwide Contributed Real-Life Animal Health Care Scenarios

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 31, 2008 - Legacy Interactive today released the
downloadable version of /Farm Vet/, a PC simulation game for animal
lovers. Vivendi Games will publish a retail version of the game next
month. Whether the horse has dislocated its knee or the cow has choked
on an apple, players who download /Farm Vet/ can be sure they're getting
the real deal. /Farm Vet/ centers around a player character who faces
real-life animal care situations in order to build experience and train
to become the virtual farm's primary veterinarian by the end of the
game. In order to create all of the animal health care situations
players experience in the game, the team at Legacy Interactive tapped
into a community of veterinarians through online channels.

*Tapping Into Vets Nationwide*
Veterinarians across the country were asked to submit real-life
scenarios and challenges they had faced in their own practices and only
the best and most interesting cases were selected. The resulting
detailed vet simulations were written by real working vets from their
own personal case files. In addition to treating their ailments, players
must also provide their basic care including feeding, watering and
walking and/or playing with the animals.

"/Farm Vet /is an informative, interactive case study program that I
hope will ignite an interest in animal medicine. The diseases
illustrated in this game are carefully researched examples of what are
routinely encountered by farm animal veterinarians," said Nampa,
Idaho-based veterinarian, Dr. Danielle Wehr. "Young animal lovers and
anyone with an interest in medicine or science will love this game."

"We sifted through hundreds of scenarios, and a staggering amount of
energy has gone into perfecting each detail of the cases," said Ryan
Modjeski, the /Farm Vet /producer at Legacy Interactive.

*Playing the Part of Farm Vet*
In /Farm Vet/, the player character is a young teenager who has taken a
job on a farm run by the local veterinarian. The player is challenged
with building a thriving, healthy farm and treating enough animal cases
to become a full-fledged vet, through the tutelage of the owner and the
player's mentor. Players are free to explore and move around the
real-time 3D farm environment as they heal sick animals, play fun
farm-themed mini-games such as milking, horseback riding and egg
collecting, as well as playing with and providing overall care for the
animals. As the player gains confidence and has a few cases under their
belt, the world expands to include more locations and new mini-games. If
each level is completed successfully, the player receives promotions and
eventually assumes full control of the farm.

*Pricing and Availability*
/Farm Vet/ is available now for download at Legacy Interactive's online
game channel at LegacyGames.com for $19.95, and is rated E-10+. Legacy
plans to launch a boxed retail version in February 2008 through Vivendi
Games.

Soldier, how is the weather at the front?

Versatile effects deliver realistic changes in weather in "Codename:
Panzers -- Cold War"

* *
*Darmstadt**, January 31st 2008* -- In a detailed war simulation it is
important to create realistic weather transitions which in turn have a
realistic effect on gameplay and visual effects. The new graphics system
provided by the brand new Gepard3 Engine allowed developer Stormregion
to create a large variety of different surfaces such as, for example,
reflecting puddles which disappear over time, vehicles which become wet
with rain or glistening sheets of ice. This creates a completely
realistic weather system which directly affects play through decreased
visibility, changing movement speeds or changed weapons ranges, to name
but a few examples.
"Codename: Panzers -- Cold War" will be released for the PC in March 2008.

During the Cold War conflict, a period in which the differences of
opinion between the Allied occupying forces and the Soviet Union become
ever sharper, an airplane accident occurs over Tempelhof Airport during
the Berlin Blockade, with grave consequences. The tragic collision of an
American airplane carrying relief goods with a Russian fighter plane
costs not only the lives of both crews, but also overstretches the
already tense relations between the occupying forces. Under the command
of the merciless Stalin, the Red Army has undergone a tremendous
expansion at the end of the Second World War and has more-or-less been
waiting for the right time to extend their territory to the West by
attacking the NATO.

OVERVIEW: The GRAW 2 Co-op Collection consists of five Co-op Campaign missions that continue the story from GRAW 2. In total there are nine maps, seven of which are inspired by classic maps from Ghost Recon's illustrious history and two that are totally brand new. All nine maps (including adversarial versions of the Co-op Campaign maps) have exquisite visuals and support all of GRAW 2's thousands of customizable game modes.

ACHIEVEMENTS: The Co-op Collection offers nine new achievements for GRAW 2, totaling 125 achievement points.

CO-OP MAPS

New Co-op Campaign ? Story: Manuel Suazo Azcona has emerged as the leader of a new rebel movement in El Salvador. Azcona's plan seems to be an attempt to destabilize the governments of both El Salvador and neighboring Honduras. Once their respective governments are weakened, he will incite the people to try and overthrow both countries' U.S.-backed leaders. The Ghosts are being sent in to quell this uprising before it starts. They must first stop the rebel incursions over the two nations' shared border and then hunt down the rebel leaders one by one. If they fail, America's efforts in the region could be set back by decades.

Caves ? (Ghost Recon®)
§ Azcona's squads are using the nearby caves as an operational base for raiding army convoys across the river. Detain and extract the rebel leader and recon the area for any hidden weapon caches.

Railroad Bridge ? (Ghost Recon)
§ Intel reports the rebels are moving on a command post 60 clicks southeast of here. Protect the command post, recon the local rail line and hunt down the informant providing intel to the rebels.

Battlefield ? (Ghost Recon)
§ The last rebel unit in the area is holed up in the village of Venta. An allied armor unit on the edge of town is pinned down by artillery. Ghosts, knock out the enemy comm transmitter, then escort the armor through the village.

Plantation ? (Ghost Recon®: Island Thunder®)
§ Intel shows a rebel leader's motorcade is moving through the farms south of here. Take out his convoy and destroy all of the surrounding ADATS before Sabre Seven arrives for extraction.

Swamp Airfield ? (Ghost Recon: Island Thunder)
§ Azcona's rebels have occupied a small island airfield. Recon the area for intel on this operation and destroy all aircraft to prevent any means of escape. The landing strip is targeted for an air strike so get out ASAP.

ADVERSARIAL MAPS

Business Park ? (Brand New) / Suitable for 8 to 12 players
§ Narrow alleys connect open courtyards with overlooking balconies in this concrete corporate paradise.

Rooftop ? (Brand New) / Suitable for 8 to 12 players
§ Sitting on top of the world, the rooftop structure of a skyscraper has lots of cover and vertical combat.

Caves ? (Ghost Recon) / Suitable for 12 to 16 players
§ Rolling terrain, forest and a cave structure tucked into the side of the mountains.

Railroad Bridge ? (Ghost Recon) / Suitable for 12 to 16 players
§ A deep valley with a rail bridge spanning overhead, hilly and wooded areas nearby.

Battlefield ? (Ghost Recon) / Suitable for 8 to 12 players

UBISOFT REPORTS 2007-08 THIRD QUARTER SALES

UBISOFT REPORTS 2007-08 THIRD QUARTER SALES=20

? Third Quarter Sales Up 44 Percent to ?450 ($625.81) Million, Outstripp=
ing Forecasts

? In 2007 Ubisoft Moves up to the Position of Third Leading Independent =
Publisher (In Europe and North America, Excluding Asia)

? Two New Franchises Created ? Assassin's Creed(TM) and Imagine(TM)

? 2007-08 Title Release Schedule Updated

? 2007-08 Targets Revised Upwards and Sales Guidance Raised for 2008-09

Paris, January 23, 2008 ? Today Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video=
game publishers, reported its sales for the third fiscal quarter ended D=
ecember 31, 2007.=20

Sales

Sales for the third quarter of 2007-08 came to ?450 ($625.81) million, up=
44.4 percent, or 50.1 percent at constant exchange rates, compared with =
the ?311 ($432.50) million recorded for the same period of 2006-07. Sales=
for the first nine months of fiscal 2007-08 totaled ?711 ($988.78) milli=
on versus ?483 ($671.70) million in the corresponding period of 2006-07, =
representing an increase of 47.2 percent, or 52.1 percent at constant exc=
hange rates.

Third-quarter sales outstripped the guidance that was raised to ?410 ($57=
0.18) million on December 13, 2007. This very good performance was fueled=
primarily by the following elements:=20

? A further exceptional showing from Assassin's Creed. In Europe, this wa=
s the best-selling game in 2007 for the PLAYSTATION=AE3 computer entertai=
nment system and the number 2 best-seller for the Xbox360(TM) system.=20
In the United States, it was the second best-selling game in 2007 for the=
PLAYSTATION=AE3 computer entertainment system and the number 3 best-sell=
er for the Xbox360(TM) system (in units, based on data issued by market r=
esearch firms such as NPD, Chart-Track, Nielsen and GFK).

? Excellent sales levels reported by our casual games including Fashion D=
esigner, Babyz=AE and Animal Doctor for the Imagine series; Horsez=AE, Ha=
msterz(TM) and Catz=AE for the Petz=AE series; and My Word Coach from th=
e My Coach series.

Games for new-generation consoles represented 84 percent of the Group's s=
ales in the first nine months of 2007-08, versus 55 percent for the equiv=
alent period of 2006-07.=20

Ubisoft continued to gain market share in calendar 2007, and was ranked a=
s follows1:
? Number 2 independent publisher in Europe, reporting 58 percent growth =
(versus 25 percent for the European market as a whole), and market share =
of 8.7 percent (6.9 percent in 2006).=20
? Number 3 independent publisher in the United States, where growth came=
in at 49 percent (compared with 29 percent for the U.S. market as a whol=
e), and market share represented 6.1 percent (5.2 percent in 2006).

Yves Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer of Ubisoft, stated "The vast majo=
rity of our games reaped the benefits of particularly strong market momen=
tum over the Christmas period. Two new long term multi-million franchises=
were created, Assassin's Creed and Imagine, generating sell-in sales of =
five and 2.5 million units respectively. They will join our existing port=
folio of 12 franchises. As a result, Ubisoft moved up from fourth to thir=
d place in the overall ranking of independent publishers in 2007 ? a year=
that saw the video game industry enter new dimension with previously unh=
eard of visibility. This revolution stems from the greater accessibility =
of Nintendo's consoles as well as from the superb cinema-like visual expe=
rience provided by Sony and Microsoft consoles. We expect this situation =
to significantly drive up market performance once again in 2008, with ove=
rall market growth representing at least 10 percent. Against this backdro=
p, Ubisoft will continue to leverage its strong brands and design capacit=
ies with a view to outperforming the market."

Outlook

Fourth-quarter 2007-08 sales
This period will see the following main releases:=20
? Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six=AE Vegas 2 for PC, the Xbox360(TM) system and =
the PLAYSTATION=AE3 computer entertainment system;
? Assassin's Creed for PC and the Nintendo DS(TM);
? The game based on the Lost(TM) television series, for PC, the PLAYSTATI=
ON=AE3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox360(TM) system; and
? New casual games for the Nintendo DS(TM) and Nintendo Wii(TM).

Haze(TM), which was originally scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2007-0=
8, will now be released in fiscal 2008-09.

The Group expects sales for the fourth quarter of 2007-08 to total around=
?165 ($229.46) million, representing a 16 percent contraction compared w=

Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power Gold

*NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION®: RISE TO POWER REACHES GOLD STATUS*

/KOEI's Simulation of the Conquest and Unification of Feudal Japan to
Ship on February 5, 2008/

Burlingame, CA - January 22, 2008 -- KOEI, recognized worldwide as the
premier brand of strategy and action games, today announced that
Nobunaga's /Ambition®: Rise to Power/ has reached gold status. The
historical simulation from legendary game producer Kou Shibusawa will
ship to North American retailers starting February 5, 2008, exclusively
for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system.

Gamers looking for the latest information on /Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise
to Power/, can visit the newly launched minisite at
www.koei.com/risetopower
.

*About Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power*
Set during the 16th century, /Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power/ sends
players back in time to the Sengoku (Warring States) period of Feudal
Japan. It was during this time that the visionary Nobunaga Oda assembled
the most advanced military force in Japan, and instituted new policies
that stimulated the growth of the nation's economy.

In /Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power/, players will assume the role of
Nobunaga, or of a rival warlord, in their quest to unite Japan under one
rule. Packed with 7 dramatic scenarios - from the 1551 Struggle for
Power to the events following Nobunaga's death in 1582, /Nobunaga's
Ambition: Rise to Power/ lets players embark on their quest from more
than 300 different starting points.

For the first time in the series, military campaigns are carried out
using an explosive 3D real-time battle system. Plus a new command lets
players go "all in" and risk their entire empire in battle. If
victorious, players will expand their empire, but a defeat could mean
the total loss of their land.

/Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power/ is more than just a game of
military domination. Life in Feudal Japan is brought to life with
remarkable detail. In vibrant castle towns the daily lives of characters
will unfold while players nurture their village into a flourishing
empire. Players will also manage government affairs and develop critical
infrastructure such as ninja camps, blacksmiths, and markets. A robust
character edit function features a wide variety of character faces, the
ability to edit stats, and let's the player choose when and where the
characters will appear.

Originally released in Japan as Nobunaga's Ambition: Tenkasousei,
/Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power/ marks the return of the series to
North America. /Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power/ is developed by KOEI
Co., Ltd and produced by Kou Shibusawa, the mastermind behind the

Wii-kly Update: Two New Classic Games Added to Wii Shop Channel

Wii-kly Update: Two New Classic Games Added to Wii Shop ChannelLet’s take a
quick personality test. Are you the type of person who likes to solve problems
by analyzing clues, collecting information and methodically reaching your goal?
Or are you more the type to thrust a double-footed kick into someone’s face
and follow it with a few body blows? Your answers to those questions should
help you decide which popular game to choose this week.

Nintendo adds new games to the Wii™ Shop Channel at 9 a.m. Pacific time every
Monday. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii
Points™ to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop
Channel or at retail outlets. This week’s new games are:

ADVENTURES OF LOLO 2 (NES®, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points):
Lolo and Lala are back in this sequel to the popular puzzle game THE ADVENTURES
OF LOLO. On their return from the Haunted Castle, the Great Devil kidnaps Lala
and challenges Lolo to rescue her again. Now he must take on the challenge of
the Great Devil’s Tower and Castle mazes. Fortunately, Lala was able to
analyze each of the mazes as she was taken to the tower and left clues in the
Jewel Boxes in each room. Each Jewel that Lolo collects contains information
that will help him in the next room. In order to succeed, he’ll also have to
push tiles, pick up Heart Framers, temporarily turn enemies into Eggs with his
Magic Shots and ward off enemy attacks by moving Emerald Framers. With your
help, Lolo and Lala will work together to escape the Great Devil’s clutches
and defeat him.

SUPER STREET FIGHTER™ II: THE NEW CHALLENGERS (Super NES®, 1-2 players,
Rated T for Teen – Violence, 800 Wii Points): When SUPER STREET FIGHTER II:
THE NEW CHALLENGERS debuted, the fighting-game genre was forever changed. Along

to fight alongside the original Street Fighter II cast. In addition to the
classic characters of Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Blanka, E. Honda, Zangief,
Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega, Sagat and M. Bison, take control of four brand-new
characters in exciting head-to-head fighting game play. Choose T. Hawk and his

kung fu of Fei Long and drill your rivals with the deadly beauty of Cammy. Get

UbiSoft 2008 Preview

I met with Ubisoft the other day and talked to them about the games that they are working on for 2008. I saw a bunch of demos, and played some games. They even brewed a fresh pot of coffee for me.

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 - It's the 10 year anniversary of the franchise and it returns with a bigger (meaning more game play) story. Due out in March 2008. There's a greater degree of character customization in equipment and experience points can be applied to better weapons. Enemy and squad AI is better. There's been a huge expansion of co-op game play - friends can jump in and out of the game on the fly without restarting levels. It's the same core game play as version 1 with simple team controls. They've worked hard to add verticality to the levels such as looking up and seeing an enemy through a skylight and then having to go outside and climb up onto the roof to get him. There's destructible cover so you can't sit in one spot and hide. You sort of have to think and plan rather than charge right in. There are 7 locations and each location has multiple scenarios.
RSV2.jpg

Far Cry 2 - They set out to keep the best parts of the original. The intention is to keep it real yet exotic so this version takes place in Africa. There's 50 square kilometers of open game world, mostly savanna with some jungle. All objects are coded meaning that nothing is just a stupid graphic so trees grow while you're playing and everything can take damage. There's wind and light from the sun that change as the day progresses. No mission will ever be exactly the same because there's a randomness about how enemies are deployed; they're not always in the same place at the same time. It's fast paced and from what I saw there was a lot of fire which is always a good thing. One fascinating thing that Clint Hocking (Creative Director) brought up is that it is now cheaper in terms of utilizing system resources to create vegetation procedurally than it is to make it animated. The game is due out roughly around holiday 2008. It will be the same game on console as on PC with the PC version having higher resolution.
FCRY2_PC.jpg

Petz Bunnyz - This cute little DS game is basically targeted at young girls who want to play with fluffy bunnies at Easter time. It's not my kind of game, but if you have a daughter who wants to raise a virtual bunny and play with it then this would be a hit.

Imagine Figure Skater DS - Ubisoft is courting the young girl market with another title and this one is about learning to figure skate. Balance school, social life, and skating while learning how to make different moves using the stylus. I thought it was cute because you can customize outfits and hair styles. This is due out in late February.
ImagineFigureSkaterDS4.JPG

Petz Wild Animalz - Tigerz - This Nintendo DS game is about raising 2 baby tigers. You train them and some other animals (monkey, dog, bear, elephant). There are mini-games and you learn a lot about tiger care.
TigerZ_DS_screen_washing.JPG

Quick Yoga Training for DS - This is more of a database of yoga facts than a game. THis goes over the basics with lots of text and diagrams, teaches poses. You pick an area of the body that you want to focus on and it tells you how to train it. You set up profiles and build custom training routines. This is due out in April/May 2008.

evaluated by members of the Academy’s Peer Panels. These panels; one for
each award category, are comprised of the game industry’s most

Wii-kly Update: Two New Classic Games Added to Wii Shop Channel

This week you can spend your time carefully planning puzzle strategies or
rescuing a damsel in distress. Help one of the most iconic characters in all of
video gamedom eat some troublesome ghosts or set off to defeat an evil
organization using only your furious fists. The choice is yours. What are you
in the mood for?

Nintendo adds new games to the Wii™ Shop Channel at 9 a.m. Pacific time every
Monday. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii
Points™ to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop
Channel or at retail outlets.

This week’s new games are:

Pac-Attack (Super NES®, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 800 Wii Points):
Pac-Man makes a rare appearance outside of a maze environment in Pac-Attack, a
fun and quirky puzzle game. This unique entry in the genre puts its own twist
on established conventions and adds one of gaming’s most iconic characters to
the mix. The goal is simple: Keep your screen clear of falling blocks and
ghosts by lining up blocks horizontally, causing them to disappear. Clearing
the ghosts, though, requires the help of a hungry Pac-Man (who just happens to
swing by every so often for a snack). It’s up to you to get all of the ghosts
lined up for him, because Pac-Man will keep eating them until he is stopped by
a block or he runs out of ghosts. In addition, his range of movement on the
playing field is limited to horizontal or downward—thus adding further
strategy. There are three game modes to choose from: 1 Player Normal, 2 Player
VS., and the challenging 1 Player Puzzle. Feel like gobbling up some ghosts?

Riot Zone (TurboGrafx16 CD-ROM, 1 player, Rated E 10+ for Everyone 10 and Older
– Tobacco Reference, Violence, 800 Wii Points): Riot Zone is a side-scrolling
fighting game that follows two heroes as they fight to take down an evil
organization. The crime syndicate Dragon Zone has kidnapped Hawk’s girlfriend
and it’s up to him and his partner detective, Tony, to get her back. Join
them as they jump “fists first” into the grim Kowloon district. Play as
Hawk or Tony and fight through all five stages in the deadly Kowloon district.
Smash down the Dragon Zone goons in areas like the Harbor, Abandoned Warehouse
and the Ghetto. Both characters have unique skills and attacks. Hawk is a
master of karate, while Tony is a hard-hitter. That being said, both guys are
massive and possess killer techniques. The hard-boiled action is enhanced by
the game’s realistic sound effects.

Wii-kly Update: Two New Classic Games Added to Wii Shop Channel

Can’t believe it’s already 2008? Soothe that sense of future shock with a
visit to the Wii Shop Channel, where we’ve just added a pair of awesome
vintage games from way back in the 20th century. This week’s new offerings
include an unpredictable island-hopping adventure and a legendary fighting
title, each guaranteed to deliver classic gaming excitement throughout the new
year and beyond. Two new classic games go live at 9 a.m. Pacific time. Nintendo
adds new games to the Wii Shop Channel every Monday. Wii™ owners with a
high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points™ to download the games.
Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets.

This week’s new games are:

Star Tropics™ (NES®, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone—Mild Fantasy Violence,
500 Wii Points): Find out just how resourceful you can be in this classic game,
with its mixture of adventure and RPG elements. Step into the shoes of Mike
Jones, a teenage star pitcher from Seattle who has come to the tropics to visit
his famous archeologist uncle, Dr. Jones. After being told that his uncle has
been abducted, Mike begins a perilous quest in order to rescue him and figure
out the mysterious plot behind his disappearance. Luckily for Mike, he meets
helpful villagers and finds more powerful weapons as he explores numerous
locations and island-hops using his uncle’s submarine. You’ll never know
what to expect next as the cosmic story unfolds over the course of eight
action-packed chapters, ranging from Dr. Jones’s lab on C-Island to an alien
spacecraft. Who knew a tropical vacation could turn into a mission to save the
world?

THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’94 (NEOGEO, 1-2 players, Rated T for Teen—Animated
Blood, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Alcohol & Tobacco Reference,
Violence, 900 Wii Points): As the first game in the long-running KING OF
FIGHTERS series, THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’94 brought together popular characters
from other well-known franchises and pitted them against each other. Match
warriors from Fatal Fury against favorites from its sister series, Art of
Fighting. Or see if the casts of the Ikari Warriors and Psycho Soldier series
better suit your fighting style. Plus, there’s a set of brand new characters,
exclusive to the KOF series, who are willing to join the fray. But there’s a
twist: Instead of the standard best-two- out-of-three-rounds fight setup,
players choose one of eight teams, each made up of three teammates. To win, all
members of the other team must be eliminated before your fighters are knocked
out. Use the game’s power gauge to inflict maximum damage and end the round
with a devastating finishing move. It’s a battle royal unlike anything
else—a game whose inspiration is easily seen in the fighting games that
followed it. Can your team be the last one standing?
